The high-speed movies available in this page are intended to provide support to a manuscript titled “Quantitative mixing measurements and stochastic variability of a vaporizing gasoline direct-injection spray” by Blessinger et al. (view full reference here). Diffused backlit illumination with long-distance microscopy shows liquid and droplets during and after the end of injection. Spray plumes appear to merge at the end of injection and droplets persist and travel down the central axis of the injector. Operating conditions are explained in Blessinger et al. 2014 .
