ECN9 focused on 5 different topical areas:

  • Hydrogen injection (Noud Maes, TU/e, n.c.j.maes@tue.nl), Guidelines for Topic
  • Intake-injection Spray G and Spray M research using methanol and PACE-20 (Paul Lien, Darmstadt, hao-pin.lien@wihi.tu-darmstadt.de), Guidelines for Topic
  • OME and methanol diesel combustion (Julien Manin, Sandia, jmanin@sandia.gov)
  • Ammonia injection and combustion (Michele Battistoni, Perugia, michele.battistoni@unipg.it), Guidelines for Topic
  • Battery safety and thermal runaway (Michele Bardi, IPFEN, michele.bardi@ifpen.fr), Guidelines for Topic

Previous “gasoline” and “diesel” topics have been consolidated into areas of specific interest using renewable/sustainable fuels and we have started new topics in hydrogen and battery safety.
